Welcome beautifuls! Are you ready to eliminate all those chemicals from your life? How much do you think your body will thank you for not constantly making it fight every time you get a touch-up?! Maybe like me, you have not been able to have fun with your hair because you didn’t want to damage it or have all those chemicals on it. If so, this is for you! Who says you can’t have fun naturally?
Here is a picture of the color that you can achieve with the henna/indigo combo that I use. Warning, henna IS permanent. This is because henna binds to the keratin in your hair, which also strengthens it. My friend has dark brown hair and all the henna does is give her red undertone. However, I have had numerous treatments (Vitamin C masks, baking soda with camomile, and oil) to get my natural blonde back. Check back for an overview of that process. I do not recommend using chemicals, as it will react with the henna and fry your hair. But we are wanting to stay away from chemicals anyway, right? Lol.
So have fun, enjoy the process and the benefits of henna. I would truly recommend it, and you can get many shades from a light strawberry blonde to a dark black depending on what you mix with it. Get the details below! Questions? Leave me a comment below!!
Quick overview about Henna… it has so many health benefits!
Henna improves overall hair health and strength, reduces hair loss, has anti-aging properties, helps improve nail health, protects skin against infection and inflammation, helps relieve headaches, and improves spleen and liver detoxification to name a few!
Caution! This does not apply to “black henna” which actually is not real henna and is full of chemicals.
